These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of bitify — the website, apps and services that let people buy and sell digital and physical goods using a crypto balance, with every order protected by escrow. By creating an account or using bitify, you agree to these Terms, our Prohibited items policy and any rules shown where you use a feature.
bitify is a marketplace. Sellers — not bitify — sell the items listed, and the contract for each sale is between the buyer and the seller. We run the platform, hold payments in escrow and help settle disputes.
Who we are. bitify.com is operated by the operator of bitify.com (“bitify”, “we”, “us”). The bitify.com domain was previously used by a different company (Bitify Pty Ltd, formerly CryptoThrift) for a different service. We are not connected with that company: accounts, balances, orders and data from the earlier service were not transferred to us, and we can’t access or settle them.
Prices are listed in USDT. You pay from a single USDT balance that you top up from a crypto wallet. When you create a deposit we show the exact amount of the coin to send and lock its USDT value. If exactly that amount arrives, you get the full USDT amount; if less arrives, we credit the matching share. For BTC, ETH, BNB and LTC, any extra you send — or a payment that arrives more than 2 hours after the deposit expires — is credited at the lower of the locked rate and the rate when it arrives.
There’s no cart: each order is for one item from one seller and has its own escrow.
If an item doesn’t arrive, doesn’t work or isn’t as described, open a dispute from the order page before the order completes. Escrow is frozen while the dispute is open.
Escrow protects you when the seller is at fault. You can get a refund when:
Escrow doesn’t cover changing your mind, buying the wrong item by mistake, or finding it cheaper elsewhere — ask the seller, who may agree to cancel. For physical items we may ask you to return the item, at your cost, before a refund. If a seller cancels an order, the buyer is refunded in full; if we suspend a seller, we may refund their open orders in full.
Tip for buyers: for gift cards, keys and accounts, check or redeem the item before you confirm receipt. Once you confirm, the payment moves to the seller and the order can no longer be disputed.
Don’t list anything on our Prohibited items list — including compromised or shared accounts, card data, stolen or fraudulently obtained gift cards and keys, counterfeit goods and pirated content.
Intellectual property. You’re responsible for your listings — titles, descriptions and photos — and must have the right to use them. Use brand names only to describe the genuine item you sell; don’t use a brand’s logo as your shop name or picture, or claim to be official or authorized when you aren’t. We remove listings when a rights owner reports them under our Brand & IP complaints policy, and suspend accounts that infringe repeatedly. bitify is not affiliated with the brands that appear in listings.
You keep ownership of what you post — listings, photos, reviews and messages. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, show, copy and adapt it (for example resize photos or translate text) to run and promote bitify. The licence ends when you delete the content, except copies we need to keep for orders, disputes, legal records or backups. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.
We may remove listings, limit features, hold funds while we investigate, or suspend accounts that break these Terms, put other users at risk, or where the law requires it. We’ll tell you why where we’re allowed to.
You can stop using bitify at any time. Before closing an account, complete or cancel open orders and withdraw your available balance; funds in escrow or on hold are settled under these Terms first.
You’re responsible for any taxes on your sales and purchases and for following the laws that apply to you and the items you trade.
We work to keep bitify available and secure, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. We don’t guarantee the quality, safety or legality of items listed, the truth of listings, or that sellers and buyers will complete a transaction — that’s what escrow and disputes are for. Identity verification only tells you we checked who a member is; it isn’t an endorsement.
To the extent the law allows, bitify isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits, data or goodwill), for losses caused by blockchain networks, wallets, payment processors or exchange-rate changes, or for events outside our reasonable control. Apart from returning the balance we hold for you, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 USDT. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.
If someone makes a claim against bitify because of what you listed, sold or posted, or because you broke these Terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim, to the extent the law allows.
Please contact us first — most problems are solved quickly. Send complaints to [email protected] with your username, order number and what you’d like us to do; we aim to reply within 14 days. If we can’t resolve it, either of us may take the matter further as set out below.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where the operator of bitify.com is established, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
We may update these Terms as the service changes. We’ll post the new version here with a new date and, for important changes, notify you in advance. Continuing to use bitify after a change takes effect means you accept it.
