Brand & IP complaints

bitify is a marketplace: independent sellers list and sell the items, and each seller is responsible for their listing — the title, description and photos — and for having the right to sell what they list.

Brand names appear on bitify because sellers use them to describe genuine items, such as a “Steam Gift Card $50” or a pair of Nike sneakers. bitify is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by these brands, and all trademarks belong to their owners.

Every new listing is reviewed before it goes live. We allow:

• Brand and product names in the title and description, to say exactly what the item is.
• Your own photos of the actual item, card or code (with the code hidden).

We remove listings and may restrict accounts that:

• Sell counterfeits, replicas or pirated copies — see Prohibited items.
• Pretend to be the brand, or claim to be “official” or an “authorized reseller” without being one.
• Use a brand’s logo as a shop name, profile picture or banner.
• Copy someone else’s photos, artwork, text or software without permission.

If you own a trademark or copyright (or act for the owner) and a listing or shop infringes it, send the form below — no account needed. You can also email [email protected]. We review complaints in order, usually within 2 business days, and reply by email.

Buyers and sellers who spot a problem can also use Report on any listing or profile.

We’ll tell you which listing was removed and why. If you believe it was a mistake — for example, you sell a genuine item — reply to that email or write to [email protected] with proof (such as a receipt). We’ll pass your response to the person who complained and may restore the listing.

Accounts that repeatedly list infringing items are suspended, as described in our Terms of Service.
