The relentless advance of the zombie apocalypse has spanned three years, but the long awaited redemption from the zombie scourge has finally arrived with the Zombucks Saint…
The Saint is inspired by the Double Eagle Gold Coin designed by Augustus Saint Gaudens that began circulating in the early 1900s. The original design portrayed Liberty as a powerful figure marching forward to brighter days for America. The elegant image represented victory. The Zombucks® Saint also represents hope and victory; hope to those not afflicted, and victory over the infectious zombie plight.
The obverse of each 1 oz copper round shows The Saint holding a sword in one hand and the severed head of the last zombie in the other. She confidently walks over the remains of her zombie victims. The Saint wears a gown and corset with a biohazard symbol at its center. The wind blows her hair and smoke from the Capitol, and rays of sunlight shine behind her. “THE SAINT,” “Z50” and “2019” are engraved alongside a border of six-pointed stars.
A biohazard symbol is stamped on the reverse, which has remained unchanged throughout the Zombucks series. The zombie-splatter image features the inscriptions “ZOMBUCKS CURRENCY OF THE APOCALYPSE” and the round’s weight and copper purity
