2016 Theodore Roosevelt National Park 5 oz Silver ATB

The fourth release in the 2016 America the Beautiful silver coin collection is the Theodore Roosevelt National Park 5 oz Silver ATB. The Roosevelt National Park ATB is created by the US Mint at its West Point location using ISO9001 manufacturing standards, and contains five troy ounces .999 fine silver. Because these silver coins are backed by the US government, recognized as legal tender, and made with rigid production quality and metal purity requirements, every silver ATB can be included in a precious metals IRA.

The reverse of the Roosevelt National Park ATB features Theodore Roosevelt on horseback, surveying land near the Little Missouri River. The inscriptions include “THEODORE ROOSEVELT”, “2016”, “NORTH DAKOTA”, and “E PLURIBUS UNUM”.

Theodore Roosevelt National Park is located in western North Dakota, and consists of 70,446 acres in the North Dakota badlands. Theodore Roosevelt first visited the area while hunting bison; his bison hunt was successful, and he fell in love with the “perfect freedom” of the west.

The obverse of this 5 oz silver coin features the right facing profile of President George Washington with the inscriptions “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”, “LIBERTY”, “IN GOD WE TRUST”, and “LIBERTY”.
